What are sworn translations?
A sworn translation is one that has been carried out and certified by an authorised translator in accordance with the legal guidelines established by international institutions, ensuring that the translation is accurate and completely faithful to the original. A sworn translation, therefore, has the same legal validity as the original document, which is why it must be handled with the utmost responsibility, confidentiality, and professionalism.
For international procedures, you will need to submit sworn translations of all official documents that are not in the official language of the country, along with certified copies of the originals. Only Sworn Translators-Interpreters accredited by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs can fulfil these requirements.
All my sworn translations comply with the guidelines established by the Regulations of the Office for Language Interpretation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, approved by Royal Decree 2555/1977 of 27 August and amended by Royal Decree 2002/2009 of 23 December. They are accepted by all public administrations within Spain and in most English-speaking countries.
For years, I have been working with electronic signatures and other digital systems, ensuring the speed, convenience, and security of all my projects.
Do not hesitate to send me your project or share your needs with me—I will be happy to review it, guide you through the process, and provide a no-obligation quote. You can contact me here.
